Hopefully this will be an easy question for the forum.
I have an MSI-6340 motherboard and looking to upgrade the AMD Athlon 1Ghz processor to the highest it will take. I found on another site that the highest it will take is the AMD Athlon XP 1800+.
Is this true? If not what is the fastest? (with and without upgrading the BIOS?) Any links to the answer would also be appreciated.
