I have a Master2 FAR with dual Opterons, with Gentoo Linux installed
and running in full 64-bit mode with kernel 2.6.7. I would like to
use lm_sensors to monitor my CPU temps, but when I start lm-sensors
and the modules are inserted the CPU fans jump up to full speed!
(I have the "smart fan" enabled in the BIOS for the CPU fans)

Does someone have a sensors.conf for this board, that prevents this
"max-speed fans" issue? Or, alternately, is there a way I can slow
that fans back down from Linux, perhaps with an acpi or powertweak
    command?
