MSI ULTRA 745 - max HD ?

can the mobo ULTRA 745 (chipset SIS 745)
AMI BIOS V1.4 (2002-07-05)
work with larger ATA harddisks then 240 Gb ?

I'm not aware of any 240 GB limit!
What failure was reported as your real problem - what message?
A BIOS of 2002 can have a problem with the 137 GB limit.
Does it support 48 bit LBA? See

Horst,
the BIOS does support 48 bit LBA, and
everything is working fine with a 500 Gb HD.
