P4 3GHz (hyperthreading)
Windows XP pro
When installed as ACPI Multiprocessor Computer, there's a big problem with midi input. I use sequencer and scorewriter programs. Play music in from a midi keyboard. OK for short phrases, but after 16 bars of music, midi input seriously corrupts.
Installing non-ACPI cures this. But I lose hyperthreading.
Any hope?
