I've got a pair of last-generation creator 3d's on my SB1000, and I'm mostly happy with them. I've seen repeated mention of a UPA version of the wildcat-based expert-3d, but never seen one for sale or even a sun part number. do these exist?

on a slightly different note, what's the best option for 2d performance on a SB1000/sb2000, given that my 66 mhz pci slot is unavailable (SATA controller uses it)

They exist -- I have one and I will get a part number tonight (EDT).

The board is labeled "Wildcat 3Dlabs" -- the label on the daughterboard
is just "3Dlabs" -- and the sticker on the board reads "XVR-1200
54-001044-002" (assuming this is the information you wanted).
