Need Help !

Hello ppl. This is my first post here... I am currently using core 2 duo e6750 with 2 gb of ram ( 1 gb * 2 ). Intel DG33FB Board. I have windows xp pro sp 2 and Vista 32 bit. My computer is fast enough but I'm thinking to add more ram it ( 1 gb * 2 )...so the question is will it improve performance or it is just waste of some bucks. and is there any way to overclock DG33FB desktop board.
