New Abit NF7-S board MAC address?

Hi all

I was going to ask if its possible to swap a mobo (MSI nforce1 to the above board) without reinstalling WinXP Pro then I thought the general consensus would be I should do a fresh install of XP (WTH I've asked the question anyway ;o)

But what I really need to know is it possible (perhaps a label or something) that I could find the MAC address before I install the mobo? I could then register the MAC address with my ISP before I un-install the old board saving myself a bit of bother.

BTW (and in case anyone is interested) the specs for my new system will be: -

Sys spec/config
AMD XP1700+ hopefully @ XP2400 (2100 more realistically) Abit NF7-S V2.0 (Using on-board audio & NIC) OCZ 512 MB PC3200 Dimm CAS 2 (no dual channel yet) Sapphire 9700 (non-pro) (128MB)

I'm fairly certain you will have to power on the board to find that out.

The MAC address is shown at bootup along with the drive and memory configuration so you should only need to install a processor and some memory to see it.
