new video card showing no color (6800xt)

I have windows XP [service pack 2], a 2800+ AMD Athlon XP by HP, 512 RAM

I recently bought a XFX PVT42KUDE3 Geforce 6800XT 256MB 256-bit GDDR3 AGP 4X/8X Video Card

From what I can figure it is in mid-process of being installed, the issues is why do I have no color in my screen?
