Hi all,

I currently own an early epox 8rda+ unmodded vdd. The mobo is great upto 200x2 fsb but anything over causes probs - I've pinned the probs down to voltage on the vdd.

Not being good at soldering I'm looking for a new mobo and thought of the nf-7 rev 2.0. Am I right in assuming it does not suffer from voltage probs and the vdd can be upped to aid oc'ing.

Cheers

Chris

I have the nf7 rev. 2.0

I would say that many times Vdd has no need to be upped for OC.

I run 11x190 with a barton 2500+ at standard voltages Vcore and Vdd, but with 2.8 volt on some crucial pc2700 ram. The ram is the limit for fsb for me.

With per example A-data ram pc4000 you can easily run fsb220 with the NF7. But over fsb230 might be difficult.

I also have the soltek FRN2. I believe it is a little better for OC than the abit. It will run fsb250 just out of the box, if the ram will. But the soltek can't do silent standby, which my abit does. I love that.
I would say: below and at fsb200 try always with nominal Vdd first.

best regards

John
