NF7-S and PCI SCSI

The NF7-S board is in transit.
I have a PCI SCSI card from which I wish to boot.
I would like to use the Serillel with an optical drive on the SATA, DVDR and place two large PATA HDDs on the PATA. Will I have problems selecting the SCSI card in the boot sequence if the SATA emulates SCSI? Do I need to place the SCSI card in a particular slot to be detected first? I had this problem with a Promise PATA controller, and wondered if I might encounter a similar situation. Better to put a HDD on the Serillel, perhaps?

Never mind. It came, and there is a SATA boot option...
