NF7-S with framerate problems

I just rig up a system with NF7-S, 2600+, nForce4 400MX video card, all worded fine except a problem with audio/video frame rates. I installed WinAmp3, the audio and video play way too fast, (almost double the regular speed at 30-50fms). Now I uninstalled the WinAmp3, reinstalled a earlier version of WinAmp2.8, the audio worked fine at normal rate. I updated to all curent drivers, anybody have any suggestions? Anyway to set the framerate in the software? My windows media player has the same problem of playing video too fast.
