Sorry for my English, (I'm poor frenchie)

A bought a Abit nf7 and after 2 day without pb, my abit won't reboot. I try to disconnect motherboard from power source, reset of bios, type insert keyboard and power on my pc but nothing.

No beep; no screen, my video card is good, she works on another PC. when i search with google, it seems that I'm not the only one who have this pb.

PS: My abit is a NF7 rev 2.0

I have an old PSU (250w)
but i don't think it was the pb, because my abit NF7 has worked two days with this PSU.

Your English is fine, but more details would be helpful. What happens when you try to boot? Do the lights come on? Do the fans turn?

I strongly suspect the problem is the power supply. Replacing it with a new 350+ watt psu would be cheap insurance.

When I boot, I have the red light, then th green light, but my keyboard is not OK. so it's not only a video pb. It is possible that my motherboard works 2 days with an old PSU (250w) then nothing ???? This PSU works with a PIII motherboard.

Yes, more info would be helpful. What CPU and at what speed, voltage, FSB, etc. I agree with Skid that the PSU is under powered and a 350+ watt PSU should be used.

AMD barton 2500+
Coolmaster Aero 7+ at 2800 RPM
512 Mo Samsung DDR 320

before my pb, my CPU was overclocked at ~2068 Mhz (11x188) and Voltage of cpu a 1.7v. In this config, my T° was 38°C. Just before my pb, I try to connect a second HDD, in my config, then I reboot, and then, nothing on screen.

maybe...but now I can' go to the bios.
and this keyboard workswith another motherboard...
I will try to change my motherboard tomorrow...

There is a bios setting "Halt on All Errors," that will prevent you from booting with a faulty or misconnected keyboard. Could that be the problem?

so it's not only a video pb.

I think you have overloaded the PSU, and that it is dead now. Test the PSU in another pc, it is not likely to damage anything else if it is dead.

That's an important clue, that it "died" after connecting a second hard drive. I assume (bad thing to do ;)) that you disconnected the second hard drive and still can't get it to boot? In any case, disconnect the second HD if you haven't yet, reset the BIOS and load default values (non-overclcoked) and see if you can get it to come up. It's sounding more like a PSU problem since it failed after putting an extra load on the power supply with the second drive, as Jens has postulated. If it runs without the extra HD and at default speeds, the PSU is the problem.
