Hi all,
I'm running the above board with 256mb, an XP-1900, and GeForce 3TI GFX card. Also have Advansys SCSI controller plugged in. BIOS has been flashed to latest version. With the above setup, I have been running the machine fine for a while now - albeit a little hot for my liking (around 50-55oC).
Today I plugged in another PC2100 DDR DIMM. Machine locks up as it reads which devices are connected to the SCSI card.
Thought maybe I'd fried the SCSI card by mistake, so disconnected it. This way it just hangs with a flashing cursor top left.
Blah Blah Blah... With everything back in, and only 256mb RAM installed - but this time the NEW DIMM in the same slot as I used to have the original - everything was fine.
Basically - I've isolated it down to whenever I have a DIMM (alone, or as part of the pair) in either of the other two slots - machine hangs.
Any suggestions?
If more info is needed on my setup, please ask!
