I have an NVidia ETON ET866 video card in its dedicated slot (not the normal PCI slot) in a HP XW4200 machine, but after a few minutes it becomes very hot. The video card has a heat sink on it and it's working but I haven't used the computer for too long as I'm thinking something might get damaged. Anyone familiar with this video card and know whether this heating up is normal for these video cards? I ran into touching this card while I was touching other heat sinks on the motherboard to see if the fans were working. The other heat sinks on the processor and supporting chips aren't that hot-- maybe because they have fans. The video card only comes with heat sink and no fan.
