Official Microsoft WMF vulnerability patch released early!

  2. Yes, I too am grateful that they didn't let policy get in the way of
    releasing a timely update to a critical problem. It came down through
    automatic windows updates earlier this afternoon eastern time.

    Just a reminder to anyone who installed the unofficial patch, don't forget
    to uninstall it.

    And if you unregistered shimgvw.dll, make sure you re-register it.
