I know many use a newsreader but ever since I did an update to Firefox
(2 days ago) I can't post a new question or comment.
It looks as if the the page tries to load, starts over, again and
    again...and it never does!

Same here, Bob, re: using Firefox 3.6 and seldom use IE8; however,
Firefox is just your browser, what's your newsgroup reader? I use

  5. Hi!

I have not seen this problem on this end. (My postings are mixed, so
some of them come from Google Groups and others come from a "real"
    news server.)
