OT - Special amateur radio callsign honoring Steve Jobs

    This would probably be slightly less OT in *.misc, but I don't hang
    out there so will beg the indulgence of the folks here. I think you'll
    find it interesting.

    A friend of mine is working the CQ Worldwide CW contest this weekend
    and just mentioned that he worked a station that's part of a group
    of hams who are using the callsign "HB9STEVE" this month in honor of
    Steve Jobs. I found an information page about them here:

    That's very sweet of them. Wish I had an HF rig set up so I could
    work them.

    I don't think I've ever seen such a long suffix on a ham call!
    They must not care about winning the contest, or they would have
    gone with a callsign that doesn't take so long to send, like HB9SJ!
    But this one is certainly clearer as to its intention to honor Steve.
