Are there any good reviews or summary articles about UPS or power
conditioners on line? I couldn't find anything at Tom's Hardware on
the topic. I have a fair number of brown-outs when the air
conditioner comes on, and have had several components, particularly CD
drives fail early over the years. With building my new system (P4P800
Deluxe) I thought I'd get a power conditioner or UPS as an added layer
of protection in addition to the Tripp Lite surge suppressor.

    TIA

Get one that does true sine wave, not a cheap one. You will spend about $200
or so, but you will give your new computer perfect AC power. APC is a good
    brand, so is Best.
