Howdy,

I've just come into possession of a brand new P4, 2.4G, 400 bus CPU.

I'd like to throw a system together and am not familiar with ABIT boards. Of course, whatever I choose will have to support this CPU, have relatively fast RAM, decent AGP.

"All-in-one" boards are not my preference...could anyone recommend a decent motherboard or at least point me in the right direction?

Thanks,

Emu

My choice is what I own, the IC7. It supports SATA RAID and has onboard sound, otherwise it's pretty basic but has a lot of flexibility for overclocking. With the right memory and video card it can really squeeze a lot of performance out of that 2.4.

My rig:

Abit IC7, bios 18
P4C 2.4 @ 275x12=3.3 ghz, 1.575v
4x256 Buffalo Technology PC3700 @ 5:4, 220mhz, 2,3,2,6, 2.8v Radeon 9500 modded and overclocked to 9700 Pro
