When I tried connecting a SATA harddrive to my Asus P5B board (to the normal red sata ports) my BIOS would just hang during Auto-Detect, thus not detecting my harddrive.
However, when I tried connecting my harddrive to the black SATA port, the one marked RAID, it all of a sudden worked.
The weird thing is that Im not using RAID and I have my BIOS settings configured to defaults.
Why is this happening? How can i use the normal SATA ports?
