Is anyone familiar with the CF-47 laptop? I recently purchased one,
which comes with a P-II 366Mhz processor. Is it possible to upgrade
out of the P-II class? (Some of the CF-47's come with P-III 500's).
Is the upgrade based on the bus speed (which is 66mhz). Anyone that
has any information please contact me.

    thanks

    Hi,
I had exactly same laptop until recently. CF-47 series evolved a lot.
The mobo chip set is different. and CPU is not on a socket.

since the CPU is not on a socket does that mean it can or can not be upgraded?
