Parity setting in MC68360 Quad Communication Controller

    I am facing problems in communicating over the Serial link using odd parity setting. The same works with "none" parity setting.

    I am using the Motorola MC68360 Quad integrated communication controller and setting it for UART operations . In this there is UART Mode Register where i am setting for odd parity for boh transmit and receive.

    Is there any other setting / register that needs to be done for setting odd parity.
