I have an HP notebook xt345. The hard drive is going bad. I ghosted the original 30gb to a new 40gb drive. Now the new hard drive will either not boot at all or hang on a black screen with a blinking cursor for 10+ minutes and then load Windows. Once Windows loads it works perfectly. Also, there is a BIOS password that I don't know, so I can't get into setup. I have tried removing the CMOS battery for about 30 min. or so with no joy. Help, please.
