Plasma tv for my 7950?

    I was looking to buy a TV for my apartment and I want to get one that I can also you my PC on. I was looking at a plasma 42" Pioneer http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pna/v3/pg/product/details/0,,2076_310069733_310985820,00.html
    And I was wondering if this would be a good choice. I have never done this before so i'm not sure what makes a tv a good moniter or even how to connect them. I know you can use S-video but it says it has a PC input. Also could I use a DVI to HDMI cable?
