Problem with Comma ports on a NF7 S rev 2

I'm hoping someone can give me a pointer here, cos I've run out of ideas.

I've a new NF7 S which is running fine apart from the comm ports (I only use them to connect to the kids phones to upload ringtones and graphics). Everything was working fine on the old setup, so reformated and reinstalled everything on the NF7 S and all the phone s/w I've got now won't talk to the phones ??

I've downloaded a proggie to monitor the port and it shows that about 25 bytes get sent then everything stops for 2 seconds then 25 more (repeat until the phone s/w times out).

I'm running w2k, I've reformated (again) and just loaded w2k and the phone s/w and the monitoring prog and it gives the same result (ie no other progs running/loaded/installed.

Anyone got any ideas ? Am I missing something in the bios ?

On my old system oxygen phone manager was working (on com port)but on nf7-s
2.0 not!!!!!Why I don't know.
