Hi,
I have bought a new ABIT IS7E mainboard and runs winXP on my computer. On that mainboard is an build in Infrared device port. I do not use that but have attachet an IR-device (Extended Systems ESI-09680-7501) to COM1. WinXP has built in approved drivers for that and it is very easy to set up but...it will not work. I have tried to put on/off the IrDa port on mainboard but it still not work evev if it says so in device manager. Someone who has had the same problem??? If I set up the device on an older computer also running with XP everything works well but not on IS7E
