my bios is flashed to CA5, and i have 512 megs of ram.

when i HAVE to watch my futurama videos (encoded in divx) my computer
freezes up!! upon checking the system log, it says that ACPI BIOS
attempts to write to an illegal address. is there any way around
this?!? i tried disabling ACPI in the BIOS, but then windows fails to
    boot. help!!

another thing i've been living with is that the ATHLON XP allows the
processor to run at 1400 megahertz with a FSB running at 133 megahertz
(and PC133 RAM, obviously...) but i swear, mine can't!! i have the
FSB jumper set at 100 megahertz and i'm happy with 1100 megahertz, but
u know, faster is always better.

    thanks guys & girls~!
