    Hi all,

I have just recently got a card from a friend to use on my work PC.
The Card is a Radeon 9550 256 mb(AGP) and the pc is AMD hammer 1.6 Ghz, with a Gigabyte GA-k8vm800m motherboard.
I have tried and tried to get it to work, but with no luck.
Firstly I inserted the card into the AGP slot, booted up and installed the drivers (according to the gigabyte website the onboard vga will be automatically disabled and there is no setting in Bios to disable), the screen goes crazy with colours, and if I reboot the screen switches off.
I then removed the drivers and the card and disabled the onboard card in the device manager.
Still the same. I then downloaded the latest drivers from ATI, but still no luck.
I have checked to see if the card is securley placed and it is, doesnt have a power cable, and the card is not faulty.
My home pc was just so simple, plugged the card and installed the drivers and no probs.
All I wanna do is play games at work now and then.

If any one can help I would really appreciate it. Thanks
