processor FSB 800 on MC FS 533

    Hi,

    I would like to know if a processor FSB 800 MHz can turn on a Mother Card
    with FSB 533 MHz.

    Why not?
    It'll work perfectly, I think. The only 'problem' is that it'll be 33%
    slower...

  5. True! As long as it is northwood it *should* be able to run.
    But should and would is not always the same, also some older bios'es will
    probably not recognize the new CPU
