I have a poweredge 600SC that at the moment has a P4 2.4ghz chip, its a socket 478 and runs at 533mhz on a 133 bus with 512 level 2 cache? i dont know what any of that lot means but i want to upgrade the processor to the fastest one i can so has anyone got an idea as to which one i should be putting in it, can i put a 800mhz on the 533 in the dell? Ive bought some DDR 2700 1gig chips for a ram to 4 gig dont know if this makes any difference Any help in plain english for a non techi would be very appreciated Robert
