proper temp for 3.0C GHZ on an 875P?

What's an average CPU temperature for a 3.0C GHz (800MHz FSB) on an MSI 875P
Neo FIS2R? I'm using a 5900 rpm Vantec CPU cooler and a Thermaltake Xaser
III chassis with lots of fans. Currently it runs at around 42-46 degrees C
when idle and up to 60 degrees C when I'm stressing the CPU. This sems
rather hot to me. However, this is my first real experience with a Socket
478 CPU (I finally upgraded from my old dual-cpu Slot 1 PIII system). What
kind of temperature is considered normal in this situation? I've checked
the Intel docs and as near as I can figure, 70 degrees C is its maximum
    operating temperature.
My readings are fairly accurate since both MSI's Core Center and
Thermaltake's sensor under the CPU are within 5 degrees of each other (the
numbers I mentioned above are MSI's; the chassis' temp readings are about 5
    degrees lower than these).

    Thanks,

    Jeff
