I am trying to install a TV card
the 3 wire, 4 hole floppy power connector to the 'cd in' from the TV card doesn't fit into the cd in on the PTGD1. The female connector from the TV card is the regular size but the male 4 pin connection on the motherboard is too narrow for the connector.
Neither of the CD drives use this connection, they both use the IDE cable and the power connection.
The lad at the computer store offered I should try the card without the 4 pin cable thinking the sound would be communicated to the motherboard without it. That doesn't work. The picture from this TV card is great but there is no sound. The sound from the other programs is still great.
I have the diagrams of this motherboard and the best I can read is this is the motherboard connection to use but it is too narrow for the standard connection given with the card.
Someone please help me.
Thank you.
