Quality of P5LD2 and P5WD2 motherboards

I'm considering an upgrade with a board that supports the new Intel 65
nm processors with dual core. Having looked at the P5LD2 and P5WD2
boards some of these versions should fulfill my needs. Right now I'm
running three P4P800 boards in various versions with no problems (lucky
owner of Northwood chips!) but need to improve the graphics with a
PCIExpress board on at least one computer for gaming reasons. Looking at
this newsgroup there seem to be very few posts reporting problems on the
P5LD2 and P5WD2 while there seem to be much more problems with the A8N
    and A8V boards.

Anyone having an opinion on board quality issues w.r.t. Intel or AMD
    processors ?

    Skip P5LD2 if you can.
However, P5LD2 deluxe or VM version is ok.

  3. Any reason for that opinion?
