Looking at the Tiger preview pages on www.apple.com, it appears as if
Tiger will come with a new version (7) of Quicktime. That in turn
suggests to me that, since I need QT Pro, if I want Tiger I'll have to
buy a Pro license yet again -- unless Apple decides to honor QT 6 Pro
license keys in QT 7. Have they stated a policy on this yet?

My understanding is that QT7 is a new, chargeable product.

Bit of a bugger really. I wish they'd bundle Pro with the OS.

No, I believe either 3 to 4 or 4 to 5 required no license.

This is just Apple becoming Microsoft and sticking the user yet again.
