I just used Acronis to clone a 30GB drive to a new IBM 80GB drive. The data
looks good on the new drive but it won't boot to XP. Per some searches I
see that there some kind of odditly in IBM's drive geometry. Fixboot etc.
doesn't help. Is there any way to fix the boot information? (I don't have
    any media.)
If I try this clone via ide rather than a USB connection would it make any
difference? (I don't think it should but I saw a mention of that
    somewhere.)
    Thanks.
