Resetting contextual menu

Discussion in 'Apple' started by Paolo Cordone, Feb 4, 2005.

  1. I remember a while ago reading somewhere that there is a way to reset the
contextual menu which comes up in the Finder when one clicks on a file (the
one which allows me to choose an application with which to open it). For some
reason, this list has grown very long and has bogus applications in it. I'd
    like to reset it.

Does anyone remember what the preference file in question was?

    Cheers,

    Paolo
