A bit off topic I know, but what exactly are AMDs plans for the various
    sockets?

I hear socket 939 is going to be replaced by socket M2. I'm not sure,
but I think I remember something about thme keeping socket 754 as the
budget platform for AMD processors. I tried searching for info on
    sharkeyextreme.com , hardocp.com, but to no avail?

Anyone know what the situation is regarging sockets and AMD CPUs? Any
    idea about timescales for replacements?
