  1. Hello,

we have a Tyan Thunder HEsI (S2567) and would like to install a SCSI boot disk.
The computer ran fine with an IDE drive and hence SCSI was disabled in BIOS.
Now we removed the IDE drive and installed a brand new SCSI drive, enabled
SCSI in BIOS and rebooted. We don't get any LSI SCSI BIOS message,
Win-NT-Installation doesn't see the drive and crashes when we add a driver
via F6 ("inaccessible boot-device). If we boot from the IDE drive (Win-NT)
with the driver for the LSI 53C1010 installed we have access to the new SCSI
drive without any problem. Obviously there is a problem with the SCSI BIOS.
We reflashed BIOS with version 1.05a, still no luck. What is wrong here?
How does one enable SCSI BIOS?
