I am running a AMD 2500 mhz barton core cpu, 2 muskin 512 400 mhz memory
modules & Segate SATA hard drive & IBM ata hard drive with a couple of cd
drives thrown in. OS is XP Pro. I have everything running ok, but when i
tested the HD performance of my system at it shows my SATA
hard drive at only 49% performance of my ATA hard drive. what i am wondering
is my SATA hard drive really performing that badly, or is it that the tests
at pcpitstop cant test the SATA hard drive correctly?

    TIA for any help/advice
