    Howdy:

I recently bought a computer with a Gigabyte GA-K8n Pro-Sli motherboard in it I am reasonably happy with the board, except for I cannot find anywhere in its bios or anywhere else where I can set up standby mode or hibernate mode in Windows XP (service pack 3).

I am constantly using this computer for an hour or two and then not using it for a few hours and then using it again and I don't want to leave it on and running all day, because the video card I have roars, and there is a huge power supply in it that is sucking power, etc. I like to keep my power consumption to a minimum.

Please help me! Is there a way to set up some sort of standby mode for this machine or do I have to turn the thing off every time I leave the computer?

Thank you very much in advance!
