Good day,
I still have my BH6 1.02 (SS bios) running fine with a Celeron 850 and have been thinking of keeping it still some time and putting into it a slot T adapter (slot1 to socket 370) and a Celeron Tualatin 1.1. Is this a good idea or will it be a hassle especially with the voltage limitation of the BH6 ? Does anyone have this setup and does it work ok ? Thanks

be advised that some boards will not run well or possibly even boot with the slot-T adapter. I fitted a board with a Tualatin adapter and it would not boot about 90% of the time... bad enough that I went after a non-Tualatin cpu and wrote off the cost of the adapter and Tualatin cpu. your mileage may vary.

I used the slot-T adapter on a Bx6 Rev2 with a 1.3Cel and everything works perfectly. "Bolooser11" wrote:

I am using slot-T on 1.4 Celly o/c to 1.52G without any problem with my BX6 Rev.2. BH6 should be OK I believe.

Thanks a lot for your answer man.
This is what I felt but not put into words;
The thing is that this BH6 runs so smooth and fine all the time that u always want to get more out of it, which u do until u push just a bit too far and get nothing anymore. Guess I'll go after a Celeron 1.1 Coppermine Thanks again

I've got a Cel 1.1 + Cu slotket. If I was upgrading at this time from a 300a, which is what I did whenI went to the 1.1, 566, etc., I'd get a Tully 1.3 or 1.4 + a Slot-T.

I had similar results to Tom G but this was with the upgradeware 370/T adapter....Tried it on several boards and got different strange results every time.

On the other hand, I have not tried the slot T adapter and have heard only a few complaints.

My personal choice for the BH6 would be to find a 1 gig slot 1 OEM on E-bay
