Snow Leopard: The Install - YOU - ARE -THERE!

  1. You would have to connect the printer directly with an ethernet cable to
    your Snow Leopard mac. Then you could set your ethernet interface to
    (eg.) the IP adress of 130.91.82.2. You would now be able to print, but
    cut off from the rest of your network (except by WIFI).

    If the LaserWriter 16/600PS is like the LaserWriter 12/640PS, you can
    then configure the printer over telnet. That is, in a terminal window
    you write "telnet 130.91.82.202" and go through the menu windows to do
    what you want.
