I have a three month old sony vaio laptop that i bought for my son. a few weeks ago he hooked it up to an external monitor, and set the laptop monitor to secondary. Now when the laptop is turned on, it goes to the login screen, but after logging in the monitor goes blank. I have tried setting it to a previous date, no change. I attached the external monitor again, and both are blank, all I see is the mouse which can be dragged over both screens, but no display, other than initial logon. I'm pretty sure this has got to be due to some setting that just needs to be reset, I just don't know what to do to fix. Any ideas? :(
