Sound Card only only plays digital sound

Its been a while since my system stopped playing analog sound. Every
time I startup the computer a scary windows blue message tells me that
my sond card is busted, followed by four identical message boxes that
tell me the exact same thing. I checked out the connections and they
all seem to be fine and no internal windows setting seems to work. The
sound card itself is very old, a 1995 sound blaster pro. Any ideas
    what it might be?

Sounds like your "old" sound card has died. Try replacing it.
