sound spdif

    hi
    k8n-e deluxe
    useing onboard sound (realtek alc 850).
    can anybody tell me why i carn't use the spdif on the built in sound ,when i
    try in volume options the spdif is greyed out ,it works on the optical
    output,and it dosen't show up on the realtek audio control panel ,its say it
    has one in the manual(page 5-14/5.4.2 but i carn't find it,can anybody help
