Hi,

Running ST6R
Cel 1.3 @120 = 1560 MHz
256 MB Crucial RAM
GF3TI 500
SB PCI128
Bunch of USB devices

When trying to run CPU burn, it terminates approximately 20-30 seconds into the burn. The temp reaches about 46-67 degrees.

Can anybody enlighten me as to why it's terminating?

My only guess mate is that your system isn't stable at the overclocked speed, try upping the core voltage on the processor, what memory rating is it? i.e. pc100 or pc133 cause if its pc100 then clocking to 120fsb could be the problem.

The memory is PC133. Its fine (Tested with Memtest86). Except for the CPU Burn, everything else is running stable.

is that 1.3 Cel an older style PIII based Cel? if so, 67 C is pretty warm for that cpu...

Sorry Tom, it's a typo. Should be 46-47 degrees. After fiddle-f**king with it today and trying to up the voltages (I usually run it at stock 1.5v) to 1.725 the only result is higher temps (54-57 C) and it still terminates after a few seconds.

I'm not sure how much I'd sweat it if the system was stable in all other respects...

Does CPUburn also do that, if the system is not overclocked?

Yep!

It's CPUburn. I don't use Sandra.
