XviD, MPG to iPhone MP4 or H264 format (Windows)
Part 3: How to convert DVD movie to iPhone on Mac OS.

  4. After looking at the handbrake website it seems that it only converts
    dvds to mpeg4.
Does handbrake convert mpeg to mepg4 format as well as dvds?

Have a look at mpeg streamclip, it's free and has a lot of options for
saving and/or re-encoding. Might do what you need, and is free.
