Hello, thanks for having me on the forums here at motherboardpoint. I have a Supermicro H8SCM-F & have 4x sticks of Mushkin Proline 16GB DDR3-1600 & when I populate the Blue + Black slots it reports DDR3-1066 Unbuffered DIMMs in the BIOS, but with the Blue slots occupied only does it work fine with no BSODs or continuous boot loop like with all 4 slot's populated. Why is this? I contacted Supermicro & they said my memory isn't on the QVL & that's the reason. Your thoughts? I'm thinking I should have purchased Samsung module's.

What's the current BIOS version of the motherboard? If it's not the latest one you might want to try to update it, as sometimes newer BIOSes deal with certain memory compatibility issues.
