I bought components for server- mainboard, xeon cpu and one 16gb/2400mhz ram module. I had opportunity to buy second cpu but no I also need to buy extra ram for it. Soon I will put it all together so I would like to know can I buy slower memory (2x16gb/2133) and set this speed on one cpu and 2400 on second one ( or all memory modules have to be the same)?
