I shouldn't pick on em, I just couldn't help it.
Actually the rest of their advise is so good that I am going to quote much of it on my web page!!! I must also commend Tyan for some of the best built boards I have seen ...... I have not looked at their prices because the Tyans I have been seeing are multi CPU server types with built in scsi 160, you know that stuff is spendy.!!
If we could get Abit to build some hot rod versions of those types of boards, Abit would be in a whole new class of homebuilt. leaving the cheapo's "wanna build it fast , dirty & cheap" companies well in the dust....
They need to look at companies like RR & McIntosh + try to understand why customers pay years in advance, then wait in line just to own the best. I have asked many marketing people why they are targeting customers that don't want to spend money rather than customers who are willing to spend much more and need less hand-holding....I never get an answer ?
You never see coupons in the Sunday paper for hand built racing engines or lear jets!
There is tons of stuff like this on the Tyan site.

1.. Why do I get "Blue Screen Error" message upon installing the on-board LAN and NT
4.0?
Do not install the on-board LAN during the install process of NT 4.0. Wait until after you have installed your service packs (if any) before install and configure the on-board LAN. You may encounter the following error if the LAN is installed with the rest of the installation.
Blue Screen error IRQ not less than or equal to.
b.. Why does Windows 2000 not see my SCSI drives, even though the SCSI BIOS sees them fine?
Make these adjustments to the BIOS:
1) Under PNP/PCI Configuration set PNP aware OS to ''YES''
2) Under Power Management Setup, Power Management Mode should be set to ACPI.
3) Under Peripheral Setup, MIDI Port Base Address needs to be set to 300h.
4) Must be on a clean install after deleting all partitions from the drive.
c.. The onboard LSI Symbios 896 SCSI BIOS detects my SCSI devices but Win 2000 does not. What is the solution?
Workaround: go to BIOS and make the following adjustments:"
